Member Exhibition: Paul Boutlbee's urban pastorals - Red Deer, AB

Date: February 2 - March 31, 2018

Artist Reception: February 2 from 6 - 8pm Location: White Gallery in Sunworks, 4924 Ross Street, Red Deer

This series of paintings examines the pastoral within an urban setting. Several of the works have been inspired by the Sanctuary at Red Deer's Kerry Wood Nature Centre while those of a more urban nature have been created with abandoned hotel key cards.

This exhibition will be ever-so-loosely centered around the time old tradition of vessel-making and containment that ceramic artists seem to embrace with open, wet and muddy arms.
