Citizens of Craft
Citizens of Craft™ is a movement for all those who value handmade. The Alberta Craft Council, in cooperation with all the provincial and territorial craft councils, is strongly committed to this movement - to growing and increasing the reach of Citizens of Craft™. We can't do it without you.
To date, the movement has received fantastic support from you in the form of visiting the website, using the #CITIZENSOFCRAFT hashtag when sharing our manifesto, and by wearing the Citizens of Craft™ buttons and t-shirts.
Join the Community and gain national exposure from fine craft enthusiasts. Citizens of Craft is an invaluable marketing tool for Professional Craft Council members. Citizens of Craft profiles provide active and ongoing commercial exposure and directs potential customers to commercial outlets including the Alberta Craft Gallery, craft markets, commercial galleries, online sales venues, and more.
Alberta Craft Council Professional Members, businesses and organizations can create profiles on the Citizens of Craft website. Members' must have an active fine craft career: exhibitions, studio sales, gallery representation, events and talks to name a few.
