Open Spaces: Windows to a View offers local artists an opportunity to exhibit their art in a highly visible downtown location. The small gallery currently features the works of Alberta Printmakers Eveline Kolijn, Scott Baird and Ashley Slemming, Alison Frank, and InkSmashed drawing group.

Event: CCF Conference Invites You To Tour Medalta


Calling all Calgary Potters! Have you always wanted to visit Medalta? The Canadian Crafts Federation / Fédération canadienne des métiers d'art is making it happen in partnership with the Alberta Craft Council. Join us for a one day trip to Medicine Hat! Visit the Medalta Historic Clay District on a guided tour of their facilities, including studios, galleries, artist in residence facilities, the Brickworks, wrapping up the day at the Medalta Market. Part of the special events planned specifically for the Cultivating Craft: Pathways to Practice conference, attendees are welcome to take part in the day tour only, or the full conference.
