Here are some essential facts about the Handmade Mafia Monthly Market to get you started.

We have 3 table sizes/ spaces: 4 foot - $45, 6 foot -$55, 8 foot for $65. Cash and cheques are collected at the day of the event.

The application form needs to be completed with your photos sent or directed to your website otherwise it will be considered incomplete.

In order to take part in a particular market you will need to select all months you are interested in - as we may not always send a call to artists each month. By selecting a month this does NOT mean you are automatically accepted to the market. Please do not assume you should then just show up for it. You will need to watch your emails for a second email closer to the market date asking if you are still interested. If you are or are not interested at that point please send us a quick response either way. If we do not hear a YES response from you we will assume you are no longer interested in attending.

You will know if you are accepted to the market via email approximately one week before. This email will clearly state that you have been accepted and will contain further information with set up times and links to events to send to your family.

We will be doing a regular rotation of vendors. This means you may not be accepted for every market. We do this in order to give everyone a chance to take part in the market. We will not be accepting deposits for shows but will be happy to take your requests into consideration if there are shows you would particularly like to attend.

Join Calgary’s local Artisans and Crafters, who will be exhibiting and selling their fine arts and crafts. This is the place to start your Christmas shopping, with locally made and one-of-a-kind gift items. Santa will visit Fort Calgary between 2 and 4 PM. Lots of wonderful door prizes!

Fort Calgary will be joined by The Alex Community Health Centre, who will graciously accept your food gift for their Sprinz-Around program. Hope to see you there!!

There is free admission, a variety of crafters, ample parking, a raffle and bake sale table, a 50/50 and door prize. All baking for the bake sale table is done by playschool moms and dads. There is also a concession with lunch, coffee, tea and donuts. The proceeds from this sale support the Beverly Heights Community Playschool. With record attendance last year, this year's sale is a great way to start off the Christmas season.

One table is $30 and two tables are $50. Tables are 3' x 8'

An adult choir will be on hand and hands on art activities are planned on Sat.

This event is open to all artisans. Some examples of accepted work include but not limited to: drawings, paintings, photography, hand-pulled limited edition prints and collages, artwork, jewellery or other crafts created from clay, glass, fibre, wood, paper, metal, leather and/or other mixed media (we do not accept assemblage artwork where all components are purchased and none are handmade)

Tables are available for $35.00 (one artisan per table no sharing)

Calgary Arts Academy will provide tables and two chairs. Artisans will supply all display material including table covers.

All applications must be made by Friday Nov 5th at 5pm.

The Cheer team of our school is putting on a Bazaar on November 27th right here in the Gym of our School in Airdrie. It will run from 10am to 4pm.

Admission for the public is Free with special performances by GMHS Choir, Georgie Girls and the Cheer Squad. It will be a Bazaar of items handmade from various Artists, Bakers, Grammas, etc.

We are looking for Artists who Paint, Draw, Craft, Woodwork, Bake; You name it, we would like to hear from you. The only cost to You – The Artist – would be the cost of the table (which we would supply). After that, it is your revenue. The tables are 6 Feet long by 2 and a half feet wide, the cost is $35.00 and covers the size of the table, not the amount of different items that you can sell (you can sell a variety of things if you like) Vendors are accepted until November 1st.
