John Blair, Calgary

John Blair received the Alberta College of Art and Design Alumni Award in 2002. For 2005 centennial celebrations he was commissioned by the province of Alberta to make the ceremonial knife used by Queen Elizabeth II to cut community cakes. John recently made jewellery for Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck to wear in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, filmed in Alberta.
