Karen Cantine, Edmonton

Karen Cantine was born in Massachusetts and studied in Iowa before moving to Alberta. Her original jewellery and exotic vessels (chalices, tea sets, bowls, boxes) have been collected by individuals across the continent and by major institutions including the Canadian Museum of Civilization, University of Iowa and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. In 2005 Karen was inducted into Edmonton's Cultural Hall of Fame.
