Martha Henry, Calgary

Martha Henry is one of the founders of Alberta's exciting hot glass scene. She has pioneered a number of techniques, including gathering multiple colours of glass and then sandblasting through them or electroplating precious metals on glass. Her work is owned by an international who's who including Queen Elizabeth II, Garth Brooks and the Rolling Stones. Martha received the Alberta Craft Council's Award of Excellence in 2005
