I like the dialogue between the trout and the river stone, both very simple forms … personal exploration of texture, pattern and imagery … a trout is an integral part of its stream environment and the silvered surfaces emphasize this unity … Alberta has been home for my whole life. Although I care little for its politics and the way the land is abused, I feel a strong connection to it and to its natural inhabitants …
