Sam Uhlick, Ardrossan

Sam Uhlick, born in Edmonton, Alberta, has studied at the Banff Centre, the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and in England, Japan, Korea and China. He has been a functional potter for more than thirty years. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is in many private, corporate and public collections - and kitchens. As well as making pottery, Sam and his wife Antonia Huysman, also a potter, have built most of their pottery equipment and their rural home/studio.
