Karen MacMillan-Amies has worked as a potter in Alberta since 1981. Upon completion of her studies at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Karen travelled through Europe and the Middle East, studying the ceramic traditions of those regions. Karen now lives in Calgary Alberta where she works from her home studio.
