Well known for both drawings and glass architectural commissions, Brenda Malkinson has blended these two disciplines. She draws and fires abstract patterns and referential images on clear or textured glass, using an essentially Mediaeval process. She then cuts the glass and recomposes these in a grid structure of leaded zinc cane.
