Anna Hergert, Calgary

Anna is an award winning fibre artist. Her work has been exhibited in Western Canada, Washington and the United Kingdom including a piece in the current "All About Alberta" exhibit at the Canadian Embassy in Washington DC and an upcoming solo exhibit entitled "Alberta - Up Close and Personal"starting in late August 2006. Awards include Best of Show at the 2006 Focus on Fibre Arts Association juried show and the judge's choice award at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, UK. In addition she has been published in several magazines including FFWD Magazine, British Patchwork and Quilting, and Magic Patch and Euro Quilts in France. Anna will base her coat on the famous Puccini opera Madame Butterfly.
