Joanna Johnston, Edmonton

Joanna has been working as a theatre and film costumer for twenty-one years. She has freelanced with Edmonton theatres, worked at the Citadel for eight years and has been the wardrobe manager for Studio Theatre at the University of Alberta for the last nine years. Joanna is an expert cutter of both modern and historic styles for men and women, also specializing in stitching, dying and hat making. She is a member of the International Alliance for Theatrical and Stage Employees, and has served two seasons as a juror for the Edmonton Sterling Committee. Joanna received her B.SC degree at the U of A in costume restoration. Joanna will be coordinating and constructing the group coat and contributing an ogee piece to it.
