Betty Kolodziej - Edmonton

Betty has coordinated and designed costumes for numerous organizations throughout Alberta including the University of Alberta music department, Red Deer College, Keyano Theatre, Concrete Theatre and Concordia College. For the past 25 years she has worked with Kompany Dance and Edmonton Musical Theater. Betty has been resident costume designer for Opera Nuova since it's inception eight years ago most recently creating costumes for their productions of Offenbach's "Tales of Hoffman" and " La Pericole" . She also has a music degree in voice from the University of Alberta and has performed with the Edmonton Opera Chorus for 18 years. Betty will be creating an ogee for the group coat based on Tales of Hoffman with technical support from local costume designer Geri Dittrich.
