Inger Lorsignol, Edmonton

Since completing her training at the Ecole Superieure de la Couture Parisienne in Paris, Inger has worked in New York and Paris as a fashion and textile designer. After moving to Texas, she became the wardrobe assistant of the Houston Ballet where she began designing ballet costumes. The new move to Edmonton in 2001 forced her to be creative in her work, when she started designing theatre costumes. Inger is often busy working in the wardrobe at the University of Alberta. For the last fifteen years, Inger has painted murals for schools and private commissions. Inger will be creating two coats, one themed on her favorite opera, The Magic Flute, and Turandot with Manola Borrajo. She also designed the Savriti ogee.
