Assembling

Pieces made of more than one layer are either rivetted together with minute wire rivets that are often countersunk and sanded flush to render them invisible, or soldered together with a high temperature torch. Soldered pieces then require an acid bath to remove heat-created oxides, and then a neutralizing bath before washing and drying. These pieces then receive a light surface sanding before texturing and surface marking.
