Alberta Craft presents the 2023 Craft Awards!

Monday, December 11 at 7pm please join us in celebration as we announce the recipients of the 2023 Alberta Craft Awards.

The bi-annual Alberta Craft Awards are designed to honor individuals and groups who make significant contributions to Alberta’s Craft culture.

This year’s nominees are:

Early Achievement Award: Daniel Labutes, Jennifer Illanes, and Leia Guo

Excellence Award: Albertine Crow Shoe, Douglas Pueschel, Karen Cantine, and Natalie Gerber

Linda Stanier and Family Memorial Award for Excellence in Ceramics: Mao Projects, Lael Chmelyk, Ruby Serben, and Teresa Wyss

Tom McFall Honour Award: Anna Bilek, Jamie Hurlburt, KJ MacAlister, and Michelle Hardy

Fibre Arts Award - Hand Weavers, Spinners and Dyers of Alberta Endowment: Sheep Creek Weavers and Tanis Simpson
