My work is inspired by the playful, gentle, and meaningful moments that stay with us over time. I often think back to my childhood, especially the time I spent in my great uncle’s garden. Filled with all the bugs, blooming flowers, and small discoveries, the garden sparked my curiosity and shaped the way I see and appreciate nature. I create ceramic miniatures and functional pottery that celebrate the beauty of small things. My work ranges from cheerful animal figures and tiny sculptures to mugs and other objects made for everyday use. Each piece is created to bring a sense of joy, comfort, or nostalgia into people’s lives. Working with clay helps me slow down and stay connected to the earth. I enjoy the process of making by hand and allowing small imperfections to become part of each piece. Clay gives me the freedom to experiment, play, and turn simple ideas and memories into something people can hold and enjoy. At the heart of my practice is a desire to help people reconnect with nature, memories, and their sense of play. I believe there is something special about small, imperfect, and everyday things. They can hold memories, create comfort, and remind us to appreciate the world around us. Through my work, I hope to encourage people to pause and notice the little moments that often go unnoticed. If one of my pieces can bring someone a smile, spark a memory, or make an ordinary moment feel a little more special, then it has achieved what I hoped for.
