Lego Letter Press with Cate Kuzik

  • Downtown Farmers Market 10130-104 Street NW, Edmonton Edmonton (map)

In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore relief printing using LEGO as a creative printing block. With three tabletops 5 x 8” Kelsey letterpresses, each set up with a different ink colour, participants will learn how LEGO designs can be turned into printed images.

Participants will layer and arrange LEGO pieces on a 4 x 6” LEGO base to create a simple composition for printing. Once complete, they will bring their plate to the press station and print four copies onto cotton paper. This process can be repeated up to three times, resulting in four 3-colour prints.

No experience is needed and all materials are included.
Suitable for all ages. We recommend adult supervision for younger children.
