Participants will also have the option to carve a simple lino stamp inspired by their arrangement and use it to create a print on paper or personalize their bouquet wrapping. Suitable for all ages.

Join Hands on Creative for a beginner-friendly Mini Flower Bouquet Workshop, where you’ll create and wrap your own beautiful bouquet while exploring a simple printmaking activity inspired by your floral design.  

Begin by selecting from a beautiful assortment of Alberta flowers, greenery, and seasonal blooms to create a mini bouquet that reflects your personal style. Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of bouquet design, including flower selection, colour combinations, stem placement, and wrapping techniques, before finishing your bouquet with signature wrapping paper and ribbon. 

To complement the bouquet-making experience, participants will also have the opportunity to design and carve a simple lino stamp inspired by their arrangement. Participants can use their stamp to create prints on paper of add a personalized touch to their bouquet by printing directly onto their wrapping paper. The lino carving activity is intended as an optional creative addition to the workshop, and participants are welcome to spend as much or as little time on it as they like.  

Suitable for all ages. Flowers, printmaking materials, tools, and wrapping materials are provided.

About your instructor:   Hands on Creative is a collaborative art and craft practice led by Kenna and Amber, two educators with a shared passion for creativity, learning, and bringing people together through making. Both Kenna and Amber hold Bachelor of Education degrees in Secondary Education from the University of Alberta and bring their love of teaching into every workshop they facilitate.
