Punch Needle Patches with Kasie Campbell

  • Alberta Craft Gallery + Shop - Edmonton 10186 - 106 Street Edmonton Canada (map)

Punch needle is a fibre technique that uses a special needle-like tool to create loops and stiches with embroidery floss. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to thread and use a punch needle to create their own decorative patch to take home.

You’ll be guided through the basics of punch needle, learning how to work the tool and build up your design with embroidery floss. The tool does most of the tricky work, and once you get started, the process is quick and repetitive.

This workshop is suitable for ages 13 and up. Younger children are welcome with adult support. No previous experience is required, and all materials and tools will be provided.
